In order to expedite certain activities with respect to the functions of BMLTA, sub-groups and sub-committees have been formed under the Chairmanship of Additional Chief Secretary, the Principal Secretary (Urban Development Department) and Principal Secretary (Infrastructure Development Department) Govt. of Karnataka. HLTF

The High Level Task Force (HLTF) for Airport Connectivity was constituted on 21-11-2007 by the Government of Karnataka with the following objectives:

  • To upgrade the infrastructure of the IT Capital to provide fast access to the up coming Bangalore International Airport (BIAL) from all the corners of the City,
  • To ensure that travel to BIAL is hurdle-free & fast, and
  • To minimize delay by sorting out traffic related issues and by enforcing all requisite measures.
