In a recent survey carried out by BCIL, a Bangalore based company focusing on Alternate Technologies has come out with facts about Fuel Consumption patterns in Bangalore. The findings highlight the fuel consumption pattern among the sample of car users indicating their average distance traveled and the reason for usage. It also clearly notes that the car-owners are currently not bothered about the fuel consumption. Further it also throws light on car pooling being opted by a handful of car users. The survey findings also sheds some light on possibility of shifting towards public transport - Metro.
